Home Information Pack The Home Information Pack (Hip) is a set of documents providing important information about a property. A HIP will include:
• An index
• A sales statement
• Official copies of the Land Registry title documents and plan
• Energy Performance Certificate (Energy Efficiency rating and Environmental impact rating for the property
• Local authority, water and drainage services
• For Leasehold property, copy of Lease, three years service charge accounts, ground rent, service charge and insurance charge requests and landlord managing agents details
It is no longer compulsory to have a home condition report merely advised.
